Perhaps my greatest intellectual hero is Carl Sagan, whose awe-inspiring work, consisting of the absolutely brilliant television series Cosmos, as well as his beautifully poetic books (my favorite of which is Pale Blue Dot), has awoken within me a profound desire to bring to the general public the exciting, cutting edge topics in a variety of fields of mathematics, physics, and philosophy.  As such, I have fallen deeper within the stereotype of my generation, and begun to occasionally write out my thoughts on these subjects.  My hope is that they might inform people, or, at the very least, inspire them to explore the vast wealth of exciting subjects surrounding us all in this vast cosmos.  The buttons to the right will lead you to any such musings I deem worthy of posting.

“I sometimes think that general and popular Treatises are almost as important for the progress of science as original work.”
